The Grammy Award-winning British new wave group Flock of Seagulls had a string of hits in 1982: "I Ran (So Far Away)," "Space Age Love Song" and "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)"
Wang Chung, also a British new wave group, gained popularity with their 1986 No. 2 song "Everybody Have Fun Tonight."
Rounding out the British new wave nostalgia tour, Naked Eyes is best known for their 1983 cover of the Burt Bacharach and Hal David song "(There’s) Always Something There to Remind Me," along with their own early ’80s songs "Promises, Promises," "When the Lights Go Out" and "(What) In the Name of Love."
